The Garden Room

The Garden Room is a new Self catering addition to our Garden, it has a King Bed and sleeps a maximum of 2 people, an ensuite with full size shower, iron and ironing board plus hair dryer the kitchenette with gas hob, combi microwave, fridge,
tea and coffee, making facilities and equipped with the usual kitchen facilities for a self Catering Holiday.

Outside there is a table and chairs with views across the garden to the old church tower.

Prices and information

When you arrive access to either unit is via a key safe situated on the front of each unit to which you will be notified of the code in advance. At the end of your stay please put the back in the key safe.

Check in time is from 3pm and check out time is before 10.30am

Inside there will be some complimentary items to help you settle in after your journey, ie, 2 x toilet rolls, tea, coffee, sugar and in the fridge some milk and a bottle of water each.

Please note units will be cleaned before you arrive, but there is NO house keeping available during your stay.

There is NO SMOKING OR VAPING INSIDE The Shepherds Hut or The Garden Room.

St Day is an interesting village and the Cedars a very relaxing place to stay.|Our room was spacious with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and I really liked watching the family of ducks in the garden. Dave and Janet are very welcoming. Definitely recommended.

Janet and David were very attentive, rooms very spacious with everything you would need. Excellent breakfast where you can enjoy watching the ducks parade around the large attractive garden. Very quiet setting with local amenities. Will happily stay again, highly recommended. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

Returned to The Cedars after our visit last year. One of the best B and B’s we have stayed in. |The rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The full English breakfast has got to be the best around by a long shot. The beautiful garden with it’s resident ducks is an added bonus. Janet and David are lovely hosts. We would definitely recommend The Cedars.

Loved the ducks in the garden St Day is an interesting village and the Cedars a very relaxing place to stay. Our room was spacious with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and I really liked watching the family of ducks in the garden. Dave and Janet are very welcoming. Definitely recommended.

It's an absolutely enchanting place that lets your soul relax on a whole other level, which can be rare to find when traveling.The people who run the place are very warm and welcoming, and they pop out in the kitchen in the morning to prep your choice of delightful, classic English breakfast.The beds are soft as clouds and they even have a good selection of movies, series, novels and gardening books, should you forget your entertainment at home.A definite top rating no matter what scale you use.

Superb stay! We have just had 2 nights in this beautiful b n b …stayed in the four poster bed …so comfy ! The bath is amazing …enormous! Breakfast was fantastic..so good! Garden spectacular..check out the ducks! Hosts friendly and kind ..even offering us a taxi service ! It’s definitely one to recommend…thank you so much for a perfect stay !

Beautiful B & B in lovely setting We have just spent a wonderful 2 night break at The Cedars. The room overlooking the garden was absolutely beautiful & had everything we needed for our stay including a very comfortable 4 poster bed. Breakfast was delicious & the setting overlooking the garden was lovely. The hosts Janet & David were friendly & welcoming. St. Day is a great base for exploring the whole of Cornwall & both the North & South Coast are easily accessible. We would happily return to The Cedars again, it would easily compete with most 5 star hotels.

Great place in a handy location I have just enjoyed a two night stay at the Cedars.Although St Day is a relatively quiet village, it is a good base for those wishing to walk or drive in the wider area.The Cedars itself was impeccable, from the warmth of the welcome to the friendliness of the owners. Our rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was comprehensive and quality. All capped off with a wonderful garden and a chance to see the Hotel’s ducks enjoying themselves.A classy place with excellent value for money

We had an amazing stay and hospitality at Cedars B&B. The rooms and premises were spotless and beautifully decorated. Great garden and conservatory where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We can’t thank Jan and David enough as we had an issue with our car and they went above and beyond to help us out so that make the most out of our holiday! Janet and David are fantastic hosts. The room was immaculate. The bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious especially the home made jam. The gardenhas seating and tables to eatbreakfast outside.

Un dels millors B & B on hem estat. En un edifici amb molta història, molt ben equipat i net, amb un jardí preciós (Molt divertits els ànecs!). Un esmorzar fantàstic (tant l'anglès complert com la resta d'opcions) amb melmelades casolanes i molta varietat. La Janet i en David són dos magnífics amfitrions, amables i atents, disposats a ajudar i encantats de recomanar coses a visitar a Cornualla.Hem estat quatre nits en una espaiosa habitació, amb roba de llit de primera, un bany modern i molts complements.

Nice large room for 3 people and a gorgeous bathroom with separate bath and shower. The morning breakfast was also excellent. The property was a secluded paradise with koi pond and ducks. The location made it nice to cover all of the southern Cornwell locations

The Cedars just cannot be faulted! We occupied all rooms barr one and they were all excellent! The photos don't do this place justice- it is beyond beautiful! The hosts, Dave and Janet were just the most accommodating and really dis make the stay that bit extra special! Breakfast was delicious and they went to extra effort to provide myself with a lovely vegan alternative to the full English! I honeslty was so sad to have to leave and am waiting for any excuse to be able to book again!x
